Obiettivi formativi
Dare allo studente le nozioni di base sul piano formativo ed informativo delle principali patologie inerenti la chirurgia plastica ricostruttiva
Mettere lo studente in grado di:
- acquisire le conoscenze di base sulle principali metodiche ricostruttive impiegate in chirurgia plastica, gli innesti e i lembi;
- nello specifico, acquisire le conoscenze sulle principali metodiche ricostruttive per la riparazione delle perdite di sostanza post-traumatiche e post-oncologiche, in particolare a carico della regione cervico-facciale;
- acquisire le conoscenze sulle principali fratture conseguenti al traumatismo facciale;
- acquisire le conoscenze sulle principali malformazioni congenite della faccia, sulla modalità e sulle tempistiche del trattamento.
Give students the basics on the training and information plan of the main diseases related to the reconstructive plastic surgery Put the student able to :
- Acquire the basic knowledge of the main methods used in reconstructive plastic surgery, grafts and flaps;
- Specifically, to acquire the knowledge on major reconstructive techniques for the repair of post - traumatic tissue loss and post - cancer, in particular dependents of the head and neck region;
- Acquire the knowledge on major fractures resulting from facial trauma;
- Acquire the knowledge on major congenital malformations of the face, on the modalities and the timing of treatment

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Al termine dell'insegnamento lo studente dovrà dimostrare di essere in grado di conoscere e comprendere:
- le differenze tra innesti e lembi;
- l'algoritmo decisionale nella scelta della miglior metodica ricostruttiva espressa nella”scaletta ricostruttiva”;
- la classificazione dei vari tipi di innesti e l'indicazione all'impiego;
- la classificazione dei vari tipi di lembi e la loro differente indicazione clinica;
- le differenti fratture a carico della faccia e le loro complicanze;
- le problematiche inerenti la ricostruzione della regione cervico-facciale dopo demolizione oncologica e le varie metodiche di trattamento chirurgico-ricostruttivo;
- le problematiche inerenti la ricostruzione della regione cervico-facciale dopo perdite di sostanza post-traumatiche e la varie metodiche di trattamento chirurgico-ricostruttivo;
- l'eziologia, la patogenesi, l'embriologia, le problematiche cliniche e le metodiche di trattamento delle malformazioni facciali.
At the end students should be able to know and understand:
- The differences between grafts and flaps;
- The decision-making algorithm in selecting the best reconstructive method expressed in the "reconstructive ladder";
- The classification of different types of grafts and the indication for use;
- The classification of the various types of flaps and their different clinical indication;
- Different borne fractures of the face and their complications;
- The problems concerning the reconstruction of the head and neck region after oncological demolition and the various methods of surgical and restorative treatment;
- The problems concerning the reconstruction of the head and neck region after post-traumatic loss of substance and various methods of surgical and restorative treatment;
- The etiology, pathogenesis, embryology, clinical problems and the methods of treatment of facial deformities.

L’apprendimento viene verificato attraverso un esonero scritto di 31 domande a risposta multipla; ad ogni domanda viene attribuito il punteggio di 1, ad ogni non risposta o errata 0.
Learning is assessed through a written waiver of 31 multiple choice questions ; each question is given the score of 1 to each non- response or wrong 0 .
